I took another half-day’s leave in order to press on with the kitchen redecoration.

A coat of Dulux brilliant white on the ceiling and a coat of cream on the walls.

The ceiling was straightforward and the majority done by roller, but so many edges that require careful brushwork around the 3 doors, cupboards, window, switches, sockets, tv bracket and intruder alarm. Having a decent paintbrush really helps though.

Worked for the rest of the day.

Unlike gardening, painting doesn’t seem to generate many Fitbit steps so I had to take an early evening 4km walk to reach my daily 10,000 step target and then raked the leaves off the front lawn. It was getting dark by the end (6:15 pm).
