In from the cold!"

A neighbour brought this wee baby hedgehog from a late litter to our door. It was out in the daytime without a parent hedgehog. It is such a lovely tiny creature. It won't survive the winter with its current body weight so the plan is to keep it warm until it is the correct weight and then let the temperature drop so that it will go to sleep for some of the winter.
So this is Spike and he is with us for a while until he can be released safely in the spring .
His one and only visit to the kitchen table!
