Coffee Morning

All the clues are there:


- cups and saucers
- paper napkins
- baked goodies
- vase cup of fresh flowers
- raffle tickets
- flyers for the next concert
- lots of people, one of whom knows how to hold her cup properly with pinkie extended


Yes, it was the annual coffee morning held by the Strathendrick Singers as their major fund-raiser for the year and it was all hands on deck, manning the stalls, going round the tables refilling cups and plates of baking, selling raffle tickets, and they also entertained us with songs and music, though at times it was difficult to hear them above the noise of the chatter.


I made the mistake of buying a bag of homemade tablet from the baking stall...
