Concert and dinner

went to a mandolin concert today with farsidehues. It is a part of the weeklong music, theater and food festival in the city organized by one of the leading newspaper houses in the country. Didnt quite enjoy the show. I dont remember have enjoyed this form of music (south indian classical) ever and on top of that, somehow I was not liking the sound of the mandolin. So left it in between.

Mr and Mrs Farside asked me to join them for dinner. S made a nice homely and simple dinner. While she was in the kitchen, I and farside tried our hands at indoor badminton in his new living room. But the ceiling being far too low, we were hitting it too often. It was fun being kids again.

Food was ready soon and it was quite good - the kind of food you would like to have at home. Quite simple and tasty - not extravagant at all.
