A Stunning Fall Day!

Oh goodness, the best of fall weather right now in the Pacific NW! Cool nights, crystal blue skies, warm enough for shirt sleeves in the afternoon, but cool enough to sleep well at night. Brilliant sun and a slight breeze. Perfection! Sometimes this weather goes on right through October and into November. Fingers crossed! 

My friends and I are trying to figure out how to continue to see each other over the winter....before we'll all forced to stay indoors because of the cold and rain. We need a covered place with a heater outdoors so we can continue to be safe yet see each other. Easy if you have a covered porch or a carport or something, but we don't have anything like that. I'm wondering about a canopy of sorts in a protected spot with a small heater and comfy chairs. What are you doing?

The garden is still looking pretty glorious in its fall sort of way. The osteospermum seem to like the cooler weather, although they're not as prolific. This one is a pretty lovely I think! Although I do like the orange ones I have even better :-)
