Reminiscing

Today was the 20th anniversary of my dad passing. I can't believe how quickly those years have flown by. After placing flowers at the cemetery, I went further into Gosport and spent the afternoon looking at places he was connected with. The first photo is the site of Camper & Nicholsons where yachts such as Gypsy Moth IV were built for Sir Francis Chichester's round the world trip. The second is of HM Naval Base in Portsmouth. Dad worked in both of these locations as a Boatbuilder/Shipwright.The third and fourth photos are of memorials in the Falklands Gardens. Dad worked on readying HMS Hermes and HMS Invincible  for their trip to the South Atlantic.
