My Day

Today we had our conservatory roof lined with insulation and plastered. It is meant to stop 90% of the heat lost through the polycarbonate panels. 

This will be useful once we get some heat. Our boiler packed up yesterday and our local service engineers can't make it over until tomorrow when they are already due to do a power-flush and replace the pump. I hope that will kick start the heating!

We have this great log stove in the living room which I have put off using until now. Needs must but the local garage only had kindling in stock which doesn't last long. I will source logs tomorrow just in case things don't improve with the boiler.
