York

A trip round York in the freezing cold. The wander through the farmer's market was warming and the smells delicious, if only we could have taken some of the items home.

We bumped into friends from Edinburgh today. Their eldest is at University with my girl. We ackowledged how strange it was to be away without one of the brood and took comfort in our joint sense of almost loss.
