Stratford upon Avon

Our last day, and another lazy one. We went in to the town for a couple of hours, walking past this beautiful building 'Mason's Court' considered to be the oldest house in Stratford built in 1481. It went on the market in 2016 for £275,000. It doesn't seem enough! There are actually 4 properties here, and at least one is now a holiday let - but as you can see from the extra, it is right next to the Police Station.

We had a lovely lunch in the same cafe that we had the lovely cheesecake in the other day, Hobson's Patisserie. This time we had a seafood filled baguette (each) which was filling and tasty. So really not wanting much for dinner.

A last wander which found us in White Stuff where I bought a pair of dungarees, with a resolve to lose some weight when we get home. In fact i think this evening i need to do some planning and list making!! I have made a total of 20 Christmas cards over the past few evenings though, so will make the last 10 tonight from the pack of blank cards i bought in The Works on Wednesday. It's a wonder what can be done with a pair of scissors, an old newspaper, some cardboard and a pritt stick!!

We have had the afternoon back at the campsite. I've done a bit of knitting, and sat outside in the sun reading my book. We have been very lucky with the weather - no coats needed today it has been so warm.

Lastly, a very happy 75th birthday to Jon's mum, a lovely mother-in-law to me and special nana to the children. Hoping we may be able to detour to Cambridge on our way home tomorrow to visit, as Jon hasn't seen his parents since February.

Might get scrabble out tonight - between card making! Home tomorrow after a lovely week away with my gorgeous husband. Definitely more weekends away in the caravan to be planned :)
