I try to stay away from medical politics in my Blips. But I'm on ICU all week so...

A huge amount of my time is managing "beds". What many in the wider world seem to not truly appreciate is that the bed is meaningless without the skilled people to staff it. So here's to the ICU nurses (and all other NHS staff) who are working very very hard at the moment.
