Warm autumnal walk.

Today we walked up from our local town following some of the ‘marked’ walking trails. Despite using a recent map, ViewRanger mapping, Apple and Google maps (the latter just shows a blank green area), we still ended up bushwhacking a bit when paths dwindled or became overgrown. Interestingly, Apple maps with satellite image was about the best as it showed the forestry trails that are not marked as footpaths. The footpaths sometimes just don’t exist on the ground.
