On a wet windy hill in Wiltshire

We took advantage of the low tourist number again; and visited Stonehenge.  Despite all the weather forecasts predicting a dry day, and leaving our raincoats in the car, we were subjected to some rather 'variable' weather.

We did have a good visit, and plenty of opportunity to walk; but you were left with the unresolved question: Why here?

I like this photograph; which was taken using panoramic mode on my camera, even though I was as close as I could be.  And the variable weather did been we could capture the stones against different and dramatic skies (extra photos.)
