Beyond the pale

I think it was due to Stella barging around the lawn that this pretty sizable mushroom had been tipped over. 

Although I do like the idea of free food from the garden, I can't help thinking it pays to be a bit cautious. 

After a quick search online, it seems that white mushrooms with white gills are usually best avoided. So I think I'll stick to enjoying this one visually,
