The Star

This little plant had been the Star of my garden. Called Sanvitalia procumbens or creeping zinnia, it has looked like this all summer, except for it spreading. No blossoms have fallen off, no brown spots, just perfection. I just looked it up and it's an annual, but it might overwinter if we don't get extreme cold. I will be planting this in quantity next spring. I'm hoping it comes in other colors!
