Gorgeous Grandkids

Traveled down to Sutton with Grace in her casket next to me, funeral is tomorrow... Read a few chapters of the BFG to her (and her parents).

Met Allegra from school; Zion had golf club!! Then watched four straight episodes of Katie Morag while everyone else had a nap.

Lovely going up in the attic - happy memories. Though it's Julia and Tom up there; I'm in Paul's bed; he's in the front room.

Paul cooked us a superb meal - cheesy prawns in a pumpkin.

Gratefuls:
- my confinement is over, hurray!! (though I would be allowed to go to a funeral, anyway)
- the joy and comfort of being with family
- the utter beauty of autumn in England
