Vending moo-chine
We noticed the other day that a local farm was selling fresh milk via a vending machine, so we popped along today and bought a couple of litres to see what it was like. Well, the milk is delicious and also healthy as it’s gently pasteurised and non-homogenised; and the cows are self-milking, which is much more dignified for them. The vending machines are very good too: you can buy reusable glass bottles for £2 (or use any receptacle of your own) and the milk is £1.20 per litre. They also sell local eggs and potatoes from the farm. We are likely to become regular customers!
