Skeletons

I was looking for the instruction booklet for our thermostat and ended up reorganizing all of the instruction booklets, user manuals, receipts, warranties, and notes on everything we've done around here for the past 32 years, including sketches for the kitchen remodel and info on our roof I'd looked for a few years ago. The best part was how I reduced it all by at least a third. As with all sifting through stuff, I didn't part with anything that gave me a nice, emotional twinge - like the receipt for the bike I bought back in the 80's. Maybe next time I look for something, that receipt will get tossed, who cares. It didn't take that long, either, and left me with a nice sense of serenity, so take that, meditation; there are many ways to clear your head.
