The Royal Ballet Back on Stage

I have just spent a spellbinding three hours watching The Royal Ballet performing ´livé for the first time in over six months. (It was streamed!). What an amazing performance. It was such a fabulous mixture of contemporary and classical ballet.
I especially loved the colourful ´Elite Syncopations’ by Kenneth MacMillan with music by Scott Joplin.
To think all these dancers have been keeping fit and practising in their kitchens and sitting rooms during lockdown. What discipline. We all need music and dance in our lives. It’s what makes us feel alive. I hope all this will survive.
