Squash - as in soft

A very welcome day out in Waltham Abbey with our friends Al and Liz. We’ve made a date for them to come to us in November. Who knows if this will happen, we’re both in the medium risk category at the moment.

Plenty of good food from when we arrived to when we left. Lots to talk about including food, cooking, allotments as well as the world in general and viruses in particular.

We usually go out for a while in the afternoon. More of a challenge this time with all the restrictions and risks do we decided that a visit to a farm shop would be fine. Which was where today’s blip of squashes was taken and is my submission for TinyTuesday hosted by ApolloFly - thank you. something "soft" - #TT281

You may think a squash is hard, it is except the word squash implies soft. And anyway they’re soft inside and anyway I think they make an interesting shot.
