Hayle estuary

It was a wet morning but we eventually got out to visit the Hayle Estuary RSPB reserve. We had never visited before so didn’t know what to expect. There was a path along behind some reeds and beside the river Hayle, then we had to cross a busy road to look at the estuary. There were quite a lot of distant ducks and waders but too much traffic.
Then a brisk walk back to the car. Probably won’t bother again!
We made a great curry for supper followed by chocolate brownies a la Bake Off with ice cream. Mmmmm
