Wood mouse

My car is at the garage for it's MOT and service today. F picked me up at the garage as we do a chauffeuring service for each other.

We then went to the River Tanat as we'd heard that there were salmon jumping up the weir.  We had a few sightings and I managed a shot (extra).

We also saw a little wood mouse and watched as it ate a seed attached to a twig. It then found an acorn and rolled and carried it into the long grass (extra).

Unfortunately it had an injured back leg so will probably become prey for another creature.  Sadly there was nothing that we could do.
