A Last Bit of Color

Dear Diary,

John was here yesterday and finished cutting back the garden.  I even helped a wee bit because he had a new, electric weed wacker that was as light as a feather and very powerful.  I left this small area because I liked how it looks for a photograph.  It will disappear next week when he returns to finish up the raking.  Today we are to get some significant rain so the bulbs I planted yesterday will get a good watering in.
