Swim & walk

In contrast to Sunday's wildflower Blip, the parish council who are responsible for this bit of road, actively sow wildflower seed and do not mow the edges. Lovely and saves our parish money.

After the walk, dropped in at local car repair/wreck shop & asked wha was cheapest working car on the plot. Am now in name, the owner of a 1998 VW Polo Estate with 200,000 odd km on the clock but with an MOT until January and a set of each of summer and winter tyres. Tomorrow my Jeep has to be taken off the road so will do all the paperwork with council then. Spent afternoon sorting out all the rubbish one has collected over 18 years in all the nooks & crannies in the Jeep. Garage owner going to Corfu on holiday tonight so already have the keys and a few weeks to drum up the exorbitant €300 cost of it.
