Miserable wet rainy day & topped off by the Friday evening Ryanair Dublin to Memmingen flight passed over us while out doing the evening dog walk.

This is the flight daughter Kate, SiL Barry & the two grandchildren are/were due to be taking next Friday but which they won't take up. Flights booked & paid for in January so no refund despite Irish government having a ban on travel.

I am so lucky they are so sensible and are not risking my life. None of us has problems with Covid19 where they live nor with where I live, but 2.5 hours cooped up in a plane with all the associated contact points, boarding & disembarking are too high a risk for Kate.
