A friend and I led today’s bike ride - really that mostly consists of planning a route and forewarning the cafe how many to expect and when - in our little bubbles as ever. It went off well and we got back just in time as rain set in. Then walking round to the post office I spotted this compulsively yeuch patch of fungi decaying away - the photo is just a small subsection. B movie analogies started to race through my mind until I told myself to shut up!
