A Break in the Rain

The rain stopped this morning...it poured all night! And was quite beautiful around noon when I played nine holes of golf (and not very well after 1 1/2 weeks of not touching a club!). 

The garden seemed to have really enjoyed the soaking rain - although it's definitely easing on into fall, there's still some lovely plants, and colors! I'm guessing I'll be digging up these tuberous begonias sometimes soon. I don't want to lose them, especially this beauty which I've so enjoyed this summer. You saw it much earlier in the year...back in April when it first bloomed. So a super investment I'd say! 

So here she is in all her lovely petticoat glory still wet from the overnight rain!
