Old Women (?) in an Old Growth Forest

Can I get away with calling my wife and our friend Cindy old women? We shall see.

After spending 3 days in our upper peninsula, we are back at our friend's cabin in Higgins Lake.

Hartwick Pines State Park is about 20 minutes from their house. It is an old growth forest, meaning that it has attained great age without significant disturbance. In Michigan's case...that usually means that it wasn't logged.

We had a very peaceful walk in the woods, and even got some history on logging.
