Early birthday party!

Traditionally a yr 6 birthday party is a whole class thing down at the local pool. Well Covid has put pay to that, so I booked Will an early party with his three besties on the last day that the Aqua Park was open. We were lucky with the weather, it was beautifully sunny, but boy was the water cold!

They had a great time. It's sad to think that they will be going separate ways in July. One likely to the girls' school, one doesn't live in the same county so is unlikely to get a Hitchin secondary. And as for the other two, they are struggling to decide which school to put first (as are their parents!).

Today though they were just kids and had fun together on the inflatables, had hot food and drink and then had fun together watching those on the cable tow. All good in Will's world today.
