Crunchy

I picked most of the remaining chard this morning to make soup. This was partly to be near the stove and stay warm. I have not switched the heating on yet partly because a cooler house is supposed to be healthier and more eco friendly but also because we will have to get used to colder indoor environments as premises are kept more ventilated during the winter. Instead I have put on a body warmer.  We still have the door of the shop open after conducting a straw poll among customers to see if they would prefer a safer environment and not having to touch the door handle. There will come a point when it will have to close as we wont be able to do fine work with coats on and cold hands!
