Pranking Mum

Hi everyone!

This blip probably looks weird, but there's a good explanation! On my mums iPad, I changed the lock screen picture to....well.....this, and she doesn't know how to change it back! I know, not the smartest, most daring prank of all time, but it's about as far as I'd go.

Whilst I was at my Nana's today, I went next door to a family that I am very good friends with. Their daughter is the same age as me, and for her birthday, we have been planning for a long time (more than a year!), to go on a day-trip to Blackpool. Anyway, the plan is coming together, and we'll be celebrating her 16th birthday. There'll be 5 of us in total, including 2 I've never met before. It'll be my first time in a different country without my parents (not counting school trips), and even though it's only a few hours train ride away, I'm still slightly nervous.

Saying that, I haven't even properly talked it over with my parents yet. I hope they'll let me go! I've been friends with this girl basically since we were born (she's 2 months older than me), and it would be nice to celebrate a milestone in her life (her 16th birthday) together.
