Wow, what a gorgeous day. Really mild and sunny.

This is a Song Sparrow who sings and sings every morning. It's quite something. He perches at the very top of the ancient rhododendrons by the front porch. We've been in the house now for five years and every spring he's here. He and his mate nest in the rhodies. I really love his song, it's quite complicated and distinct.
