Bread from Heaven

Today was a breadmaking course at a local cookery school, their name is a play on Manna from Heaven.

We made white bread, cheese and onion wholemeal rolls and baguettes, soda bread and an enriched dough bread with cinnamon called a kringle - the last one is in the picture. It was a really good day, learned a lot, but we made soooooooo much bread! We donated to friends and neighbours, way too much for us, even although we froze some.

Really nice to do something practical and physical, and nice to eat the end result!
