Little mousie

Last night Percy came in with this tiny mouse in his mouth and dropped it at my feet. It was sopping wet and I thought it was dead, but then I noticed it twitch, so i picked it up, wrapped him in a tissue and gently warmed him up in my hands and prayed life over him. He revived a little, so I decided to put him in the safety of the animal carrier with some hay, food and wet tissue (for water) - as I put him in he opened his eyes ....... 
The following morning I fully expected him to have died, but he was running round the carrier at speed, eating the food and chewing up the tissue - YESSSS!
After I had secured the cats inside I carefully placed him in a jam jar ( with my hand on top) so I could photograph him, and then I let him go in the safety of the woodpile...God's speed little mouse.
