Porcelain Mushrooms

Woke up late, worked on my course then did a quick bit of work, then a quick lunch before a long walk.

I walked through the woods yesterday and saw these mushrooms growing on a fallen tree. They were still there today, so took some more photos.

They are porcelain mushrooms, and are edible but the mucus that gives them the shine would need to be removed, either by washing or peeling, and then they don't taste of much so its hardly worth it! Still, good to know should the apocalypse arrive. Which given it's 2020, it could!!
