Dandelion days

I’m really feeling the lack of flowers at the moment. This afternoon I was in a friend’s garden, and she showed me the leaves of hellebores, fuchsias, lavender and lily-of-the-valley all biding their time before making a lovely colourful border next year. But on the way home I was pleased to find this little dandelion putting on a sunny show on the grass verge.
