Another day, another butterfly

Again the walk to the village to purchase our weekly vegetables - and to have a drink in the bar - produced this butterfly. Not a new species and indeed an old favourite, it is still, to me, a beautiful little thing. Adonis Blue is rthe name and one can understand why it was named after the youth Adonis, a favourite of Aphrodite.
