From across the pond #2

Walked around the pond in the evening, as the swans were on the pond and fog was rising. The swans just didn't get my idea about posing with the fog behind them, but at least I got the farm with nice light as the backdrop. The swans were in shadow though.

Soon after taking this I walked to an area on the bog where I usually don't go. Now I'll remember why for some time, as I dipped my leg quite deep in there. That part has been used for digging out mud many decades ago, but the turf is still thinner than elsewhere.

Despite having one very wet leg (plus trousers, socks and a boot filled with muddy water), I went back to the pond from the home side to get a few properly foggy shots of the swans. One as extra.
