Burnham Overy Staithe
Staithe means harbour and the harbour here is at the estuary of the River Burn. It has been a day of two halves - wet and cold in the morning and then bright sunshine in the afternoon. The sun is already getting low in the sky but gives good light late in the afternoon when it is clear. My second image is of the estuary with the tide beginning to come in. The specks on the mudflats are wading birds feeding before the sun sets. I was fascinated by lines of the water channels and the metallic glistening of the sun on the mud.
