Last bits of colour

The dry weather over the last few days has allowed me to continue with the autumn tidy up. I think I’ve said before that I don’t like this sort of gardening! The plants are starting to look messy and scrawny. I move pots about here and there, trying to give the remaining blooms a bit of the decreasing sunlight, I empty pots of dying annuals, I try to decide if I should dig out some of the older perennials or leave them until the spring. Too many jobs! Spring and summer gardening is much more fun!
