Mr & Mrs Jackson
Nick & Zoë's Wedding...
What a beautiful day it was.
The venue, the flowers, the weather, the minute thought and detail of finishing touches, the bridesmaids, the Usher (!), the cake (modest me...!), the Groom, and last but certainly not least the Beautiful Bride.
Here, I managed to capture those first excited moments of Husband & Wife.
..and of course I cried!
Every aspect of the day was lovely and you couldn't have asked for a happier, fun day.
Alexander looked dashing in his suit, even though he felt a little uncomfortable and Ferguson and Gracie managed to bag quite a few "Awwww"s when they lead each other round hand in hand.
Evie & Marley were like 2 little princesses and I was touched to have helped the 3 girls, get dressed and get ready.
My cake was a success! All the stresses and worries I'd had faded away when I saw it stood proud in it's 4 tier glory. I got so many compliments and lots of people even thought that I was a professional cake maker!
My fruit cake-making debut nervous-ness was also un-necessary as it remained so moist and plump.
I was so pleased with myself.
Zoe's dress was absolutely stunning, very understated and elegant. It completely complimented her slender figure and she really did look breath-takingly beautiful.
The day flew by, perhaps not quite so quickly for me as for the Bride and Groom.
I felt quite humbled to be a part of their wedding day and, in making their Cake, quite honoured to have contributed to their memories.
