Henny

The undoubted star of today was Henny, the real Hairy Maclary! E must have called her name at least 100 times. There was no battle to get her coat and wellies on this morning and she even requested a "tarry" (downstairs) in a bid to reach Henny that little bit quicker. She clutched her bag in one hand and took Holly's hand with the other, beamed a smile, glanced back at me and headed off to the park.

The light was incredible, there was even some warmth in the sun, spirits were high. E was more confident with Henny today, allowing her to come close, stroking her, kicking a ball for her, introducing her to Chloe cupcake and other toys , fascinated by her eating, her treat, where she lay! Poor J didn't stand a chance, all E's attention was on her favourite dog. Thankfully, he's a very contented little boy and didn't seem to take it personally.
