Exit stage left

Plug me in

I think I need a few extra volts today.

Early (ridiculously early) start for work this morning. Well normal time actually but I'm a night owl so I always think it's stupidly early even if I've not had theatre the night before. Harder to stay awake this morning as it was meetings followed by a lecture zzzzzzzz

Afternoon nap followed by the play again. I love this play.

A few incidents to keep me on my toes tonight: late-latecomers, the smell of smoke swiftly followed by the lighting op telling me over cans that she thought a light had blown. All this while trying to operate the most complicated bit of VFX in the play and simultaneously cueing the sound op. All a false alarm, the next door neighbours were seemingly having a bonfire and the lighting op had simply been fooled by their tiny monitor adjusting it's contrast etc to the start of the powerpoint projection on stage. The director didn't notice anything so we covered that one OK.

And now I'm falling asleep in front of Graham Norton, trying desperately to stay awake until my washing has finished.
