Risk Factor
When you spend a large part of the day gardening, it’s always a possibility that you pick up some wildlife. It’s an acceptable risk. I pulled down a big load of ivy and it was minging behind.
So no great surprise when little beetle scuttles across the sofa when I sit briefly, guzzling water whilst water pours from the sky outside.
It’s lovely to scatter some seeds to flower in spring when the rain is so frequent and sunshine fills the gaps.
And we’ve had a very welcome couple of guests today. LongLegs & a friend. And an evening of game playing. There’s a significant risk of losing when playing with this lot.
PS I wouldn’t have been so happy to see a spider scuttle across the sofa. There’s a limit to the easy acceptance of risk.
