They're puddles mummy

We headed to Stamford this morning, always a pleasure... lovely morning spent chatting to Granny with the boys playing with lego.  The main reason to go to Stamford was to visit the shoe shop - I spend more on shoes for the boys than myself!  They needed new weekend shoes and both now have these great boots - beautiful leather lined boots, they look so comfortable.  Boys are so lucky to be able to wear 'sensible' shoes unlike girls who so frequently end up in poor shoes.  

Home to making clay models (good for the hands of the eldest to strengthen up to help with his writing) - the youngest told me he was making puddles, which is very apt given the torrential rain this afternoon. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Nice morning with Granny 
Simple happiness at sitting at the table making clay models 
Two children sleeping in my bed awaiting a night of cuddles (repeat of last night).
