Another Walk....!!!

Unable to leave our county boundaries at the moment we headed to the Curragh, a famous Co. Kildare landmark as anyone who is into horse racing would know..!!
It’s also the biggest ‘common’ land area on our island...!
And this very old British Military Cemetery is on a hill right on the edge...so very sad ...a lot of these young men died during the WW1 and many while they were stationed on the Curragh Military Camp close by..all buried so far from their homeland and all so very young...there are also entire families buried there who were victims of the last great pandemic..the Spanish Flu..!
There was a bracing wind that blew the ‘cobwebs’ away..
I wasn’t able to walk too far today however as I was exhausted from standing for hours baking yesterday...and the flare-up of pain wasn’t good..!!
A Chinese take away dinner followed so it was a good day despite these peculiar times..!
