Dydd Sadwrn/Saturday

Fine start to the day but rain soon moved in and was showery all day.
Whilst it was dry had a wander around the garden, all the acorns (about 2 dozen) which I’d been collecting from the little tree have disappeared! I hope it’s the red squirrel who’s had them, do any birds eat acorns?
Blackbirds, bluetits, great tits and robins busy eating elderberries this afternoon, in the rain ...
MrD went for a walk and got caught in shower but didn’t get too wet, trusty water proofs!
Picked an assortment of baby kale leaves for tonight’s curries.
