Black Swans (Cygnus atratus)
These black swans are really common in Canberra, there are usually loads hanging around in Lake Burley Griffin..... just not today when I was looking for a blip...... there were two.....typical.
Having read a wiki page regarding Black Swans I have found out the following useful facts.......Collective nouns include a "bank" (on the ground) and a "wedge" (in flight) & there are large numbers of same sex couples in the swan world.... interesting!!! Blip can be fun and educational !!
