Another unwanted repair

The swivel base of my CD rack,it fell apart when I moved it.
It had been held together by one small screw through a very thin piece of plastic. Fortunately I have a good selection of miniature ball bearings which a friend once rescued from a skip. This one is fitted a hole nade where the plastic was thicker. Once more the patient survives.
I wouldn't have bothered as it was inexpensive,  I'd have bought a new and possibly nicer one. However, I've been told that they're difficult to get as no onehas Cds any more.
