Ouch!

What started off as a lovely ride out on the bike, turned into a nightmare as we hit the mother of all potholes.

This was on a stretch of country road, with a speed limit of 60mph....thank goodness we weren’t going that fast!
With the wet weather conditions and loads of leaves on the road, Mr A had been taking it steady, so our dash cam footage shows we were only doing 20mph when we hit it.
It was still hard enough to give us both a huge jolt, split the front tyre and buckle the back wheel.
Luckily for me, the bike has a top box. Without that to bolster me, I would have been thrown off for sure.

Poor Mr A, he’s only had the bike just over a month. He’s looking into to making a formal complaint to the council, but I doubt he will get very far :-(
