rocks

Today’s walk involved crossing a field with a bellowing cow guarding its calf. There was also a bull in the field but that seemed OK. We had to cross several streams including the one in the main blip which was quite difficult to negotiate. If one of us had slipped, I’m not sure what the other one of us would have done. The extra shows the water running down the rocks ( not very clearly). After lunch we started off again and after crossing one stream came to another where we abandoned and turned round. We are going home tomorrow and didn’t want a twisted ankle in tow, better safe than sorry. We only had one short shower today but it certainly came down overnight. We returned via the road. We have two velux windows in our bedroom where we are staying and the noise of the rain wakes us up.
